Worm Composting Workshop

Join Zack Osborne on Saturday, April 29 from noon – 1:30 p.m. in the Houghton Portage Library Community room.  He will teach participants about vermicomposting and how to make compost tea.   This is a family friendly workshop with hands on redworm stations for the kids.  FREE Redworm Mini Kit for each participant 18 and under.  Thanks to Kaleidoscope – Keweenaw Education Organization for providing the kits.  This event is sponsored by Kaleidoscope and the Copper Country Recycling Initiative.
